Robyn is the President of Verde and has served as the LEED Accredited Professional (AP) on over fifty projects achieving LEED Certification in her career.

Robyn is a LEED AP in BD+C, Homes, and SITES and has provided sustainability consulting to national and international companies. She was part of the inaugural group to achieve the SITES Accredited Professional credentialing, an eco-system landscape Certification under the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Robyn’s achievements include delivering LEED certification on multiple projects across New Construction, Homes, Core and Shell, SITES and Neighborhood Development. She has led Pilot Programs for the USGBC, most recently a Midrise Pilot Program, which achieved the state of Hawaii’s first Platinum Certification in that Program and incorporated the principles of health and social equity. She assisted the Girl Scouts of Orange County in achieving LEED Silver Certification for the new Argyros Leadership Center in Newport Beach, a land partnership with the City of Newport Beach. She worked with GSOC on outreach and development of ongoing sustainability programs at that center to teach girls about career paths available in sustainability. She was also part of the team to achieve the first SITES Certification in Orange County, and the world’s first triple-certification project, Orange Coast College Recycling Center in Costa Mesa, California.

For several years, Robyn worked with the Land Trust Alliance and the California Council of Land Trusts as part of an innovative land-use remediation, restoration and land management project on a 500 acre site. Her goals focus on creating ecologically resilient open space, getting people connected with nature, and aligning land and development practices.

A long-time focus on health and wellness principles and healthy partnerships, Robyn provides services for WELL Certification or Fitwell Certification, and is working within the USGBC platform to apply the market transformation principles of the green building movement to make health promotion standard with in the built environment. Harnessing buildings and communities as vehicles to support human health and well-being is part of this vision and she aims to make these standards available to everyone.

Robyn currently serves as the Co-Chair of California for the U.S. Green Building Council, representing the Orange County Community and was the former Chair of the Advocacy Committee. She has served as a guest speaker at GreenBuild, NeoCon, AIA Honolulu, University of California Irvine, and University of California Los Angeles.
